Glebe Road East

Glebe Road East is situated in one of the most scenic areas of Newtownabbey, and so when Mr. Paul Creagh decided to build there he knew it would have to be something special. We were delighted when he contacted us and asked us to tender for the project.

The build had some challenging aspects as the site was a restricted cul-de-sac with poor access. Therefore utilizing the site to a maximum meant building a two-story house as well as creating a story below ground level towards the front of the house.

For all intensive purposes this home looks like a bungalow from the front but as you can see from the photos it's a full, two-story property. This house has many unique features including a spiral staircase, polished stainless handrails as well as galvanized balconies. We have also added stainless steel handrails on to the walkway which leads tot he rear of the house.

In addition the house is fitted with a gas heating system zoned for efficiency, and pressurised to cope with the many bathrooms and power showers. In order to ensure the security of the house, remote controlled electric gates were set up and the latest security system installed.

To finalize the look of the house, oak doors, skirting and architraves were used throughout its entirety to give it a feeling of luxury and quality.
